Hair Sheep: Mild, Tender, and 100% Grass-Fed

Our lamb is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished and pasture-raised on biodiverse forage year-round — outside, moving across real ground, enjoying a diverse mix of grasses, forbs, and browsing as they go. We manage our sheep in a rotational grazing system with a soil-first mindset, prioritizing clean forage, steady movement, and calm handling.

We raise hair sheep because they’re a strong fit for our environment and grazing system, and they tend to produce a milder, less “gamey” eating experience than conventional lamb.

Lamb is a naturally nutrient-dense protein — rich in bioavailable protein, iron, zinc, and B vitamins — and when it comes from a true grass-fed, pasture-based program, it fits beautifully into a real-food kitchen.
