We’re a hands-on farm family, doing this the old-fashioned way — with dirt under our nails, animals in the pasture, and a deep belief that food should be clean, honest, and raised with care. You won’t find cramped feedlots, mystery meat, or lab-grown anything here. Just real animals, raised on real pasture, the way nature intended.
At Riverstead Farm, we’re working with the land, not against it — using regenerative agriculture, rotational grazing, low-till practices, composting, and cover crops to breathe life back into our soil. Our diverse mix of animals — cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens — all play a part in this healing work. Every hoofprint and scratch in the dirt matters. Every day is a step toward restoration.
We don’t pump our animals full of growth hormones, routine antibiotics, or vaccines. They’re raised the way they should be — with fresh air, open space, and respect. The result? Meat that’s nutrient-dense, full of flavor, and raised with integrity.

Everything has been so good! We’ve tried their chicken thighs, leg quarters, breasts, and whole chickens. Everything has had a incredibly delicious texture and flavor you can’t find anything close to in a grocery store. Even the most organic choices are mushy and bland in comparison. The eggs were gorgeous and flavorful. Can’t wait to try their pork and beef offerings next!
