Rotationally Grazed in “Chicken Tractors”

Our broiler chickens are raised using a pasture-based system, living in our custom-built mobile coops we call "chicken tractors." These 8'x16' structures provide protection from predators while allowing the birds to forage 24/7.

We move the chicken tractors at least once a day — and at least twice a day in the final weeks before processing — to ensure the birds always have fresh pasture and are never sitting in their own waste. This frequent movement keeps their environment clean and encourages natural behaviors of pecking, scratching, and foraging. The result is happier, healthier birds with superior meat quality.

Our broilers are supplemented with a locally milled, non-GMO grain blend to ensure optimal nutrition. However, their diverse, pasture-based diet — rich in grass, seeds, and insects — gives them a leaner texture, deeper flavor, and higher nutrient content than conventionally raised chicken.

By raising our broilers on pasture and moving them daily, we are not only producing clean, ethically raised chicken — we are also building soil health, sequestering carbon, and contributing to a regenerative food system.
